The attic half is the part other companies skip and it is where the truth usually is. A roof that looks fine from above and has frost on the nail points underneath has a ventilation problem that will shorten whatever you put on top of it.
What You Get
Photographs of anything worth seeing, a plain written note about what each one means, and an estimated number of years left. If the answer is fifteen years, we will say fifteen years, and you will not hear from us again unless you call.
Why It Is Free
Because a percentage of the roofs we look at need work, and because a homeowner who has seen photographs of their own roof is much easier to deal with than one who has not. There is no version of this where we make money on the inspection itself.
